Hello Everyone!

Greetings family and friends, yes I know it’s been a while since I have given you an update, and so I’ve sat down and made some time to do so. I’m sorry there has been a gap, but there has been a lot going on, that has mostly been a good thing to prevent me from having the time to do so.
Jonathan is doing really good, he picked up a cup today and drank from it without spilling it at all. Chris and I were almost in tears about how “grown up” he’s getting. He’s starting to say more words, he says “more” anytime he wants more to eat, “hi” every time we go and get him from his crib, the other day I was about to put him down for a nap, and he said “nite nite.” It’s really neat to see all the self discovery going on, I can literally see him thinking when he is trying to figure out something. He is like his dad, a lot. He has to put things where they go, every time he’s finished with it. His cups always have to go back in the cup holders, the straws back in the cups, and his clothes in the laundry basket. How blessed we feel to have such a wonderful child.
Chris is doing great, he’s been moved due to his sleeping problems off the boat and to a new place, to where he is actually working normal hours again. He’s only working a maximum of 8 hours, and some days he only goes to work for 4. His sleeping problem had gotten really bad on the boat, he was falling asleep driving to work, and at work, and at home, so I’m really glad they finally did something about it. He’s seeing a specialist for it all right now, and we hope to know what’s wrong within a few months.
I’m doing good as well, I have my husband back and that always helps. I’m still doing college, and that’s all going fine. We were trying to conceive our second, but I’ve had two miscarriages now, so we are giving up for the time being. I’m not going back on birth control, but we are not going to allow any sort of treatment to help either. Nothing can stand in the way of God’s will, and if he only ever wants us to have the one, he knows best. I’m seeking the treatment to help fix a medical condition I have, and when we are two months out from me having the surgery I’ll go back on birth control and stay on it.
We might be all coming home for Christmas if Chris get’s the time off of work, which it looks like he will. It will be good to see you all, since it has been almost a year since we have seen some of you. We hope you are all doing well, and you are in our prayers.
